Emergency Management Plans are created to predetermine actions and organizations that may plan a role in the response to a disaster or emergency. These plans could have a very wide scope or be as detailed as a position description. Planning in emergency management allows for emergency managers to know what to do when a disaster does strike the community. Listed below are a brief list of the types of plans that Duval County Emergency Management has put together. Additionally, the Health Care Facility Plan is a plan that is submitted by a Health Care Facility to the Duval County Emergency Management as part of a licensing requirement.
