Missing Child

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is in the midst of a search for a missing child, and they are asking for assistance from the community.  On Monday, November 18, 2024, at approximately 10:20 a.m., Davon Steele was observed on surveillance video leaving his residence near the 4300 block of Sunbeam Road.  A few minutes later, surveillance video again captures Davon, this time in the 4400 block of Sunbeam Road.  Since the second sighting, tDavon has not been seen or heard from again.  At this time, we are seeking his location in an effort to ascertain his safety.
 
The child has been identified as:
Name:  Davon Steele
Age:  11
Height: 5’2”  / Weight: 90 lbs
Eyes: Brown / Hair: Black
Clothing: Red and white striped shirt, light colored shorts, and unknown shoes.
 
Anyone having seen, or who has information on Davon’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500, or 911.
